With a magnetic system, on the other hand, the piece remains free on 5 sides, which can be machined with a single positioning. The absence of machining vibrations allows greater removals, longer tool life, better surface finish and tighter machining tolerances.

Quadsystem invertible double permanent magnet technology uses the power supply only for short cycles lasting a few seconds in the “MAG” magnetisation and “DEMAG” demagnetisation phases, respectively.
A permanent-electro system is inherently safe as it is unaffected by power interruptions. No backup batteries are required. Loads remain attached with consistent force, indefinitely and can only be unhooked when on the ground.
A single operator, at a safe distance from the load, is able to perform gripping, handling and release operations by activating the remote control, ensuring no other operators are needed for fastening and slinging operations.
