SM modules are designed to quickly move flat loads, blocks and rods.
They are safe thanks to permanent-electro technology, which maintains attachment even during a power failure. Furthermore, they are lightweight and compact without significantly affecting the crane’s capacity.
Costs related to the handling of pieces are often underestimated. Have you ever calculated how much time it takes to space each load, slide the chains under it, follow it during handling and carry out all these operations again in reverse order to be able to access it freely?
A permanent-electro lifting module allows beams and profiles to be lifted and moved from above without the use of chains and separating strips, with extreme ease and at a distance from the load. SML/SMH/RD series modules are designed to quickly move flat loads, blocks and rods.
They are safe, as they use permanent-electro technology: in the event of a power outages, loads remain attached to the module, without any loss of magnetic strength. They are light and compact: their low weight does not significantly penalise the available capacity of the crane.
SM modules are designed to comply with and exceed UNI 13155:2009 requirements. Each module is capable of developing a 1:3 safety factor (the strength is 3 times the maximum permissible load); this ratio is guaranteed not only during the approval process, but also, and especially, in the most severe operating conditions.
A series of safety systems prevents lifting loads beyond the limit value (PICKUP), demagnetization during handling (DAUTANAC) and accidental activation and deactivation (SAFE).
