Moulds and dies

Train and rolling stock

QUAD-RAIL is the specific modular magnetic system for blocking the processed rails that will become railway switch points. The particular geometry of the “L” frame strongly secures both the base and the core of the rail, uniformly over the entire length. The tool has total access for progressive tapered milling of both the “foot” and the “head” of the rail.

MILLTEC and QUAD-EXTRA are regularly used for workholding and machining various rolling stock such as switch plates or rail reinforcements. Customised magnetic systems are used to lock the ribs and cover the railway carriages during the spot laser welding steps.
