StampTEC is the magnetic system for quickly clamping moulds and dies on metal stamping presses. With StampTEC, the downtime required for fixing brackets, making adjustments and performing tests between production batches is eliminated. StampTec is suitable for moulds and dies of all shapes and sizes, without any modification.
Consisting of 2 magnetic modules, it can be installed easily: it is fixed on pallets, adapting to any type of machine, without modifications.
GRIP function
The Grip function allows StampTEC to be fastened to machine beds using magnetic strength in combination with fixing screws. This creates a homogeneous whole along with the mould or die, magnetic system and pallets, equipped with absolute rigidity to reduce vibrations and bending of the mould or die and guarantee high precision and quality when stamping.
Advantages
StampTEC it is used in cold moulding, on deformation presses and on mould opening and testing machines. It does not require any modifications to the moulds, dies or machines; it is customised to replicate the machine bed and prepared for the insertion of pins, references, stops and loading and sliding systems for moulds and dies.
QUICK AND EASY
StampTEC forcefully clamps moulds and dies of any shape and size. It dramatically reduces mould and die change times (up to 90%) compared to conventional procedures. Only one operator is needed to carry out the operation with ease and in total safety, without interventions inside the machine.
Easily adaptable to all machines
Consisting of 2 magnetic modules, it is easy to install and integrate with controls on pre-existing presses and on newly built machines. Its modularity makes it suitable for every need. It is not necessary to modify the press. StampTEC is built for your machine. The reduced thickness allows for operating light to be maintained.
CONVENIENT
No modifications to the moulds and dies are needed. Working with StampTEC means eliminating the costs of maintenance and management of brackets, consumables and screws.
SAFE
It is a permanent-electro system: in one second an electrical impulse activates the system (MAG) and the mould or die is held by the natural strength of the permanent magnets. The workholding strength remains constant even in the absence of electricity: it is unaffected by losses of power.
StampTEC is “error-proof”: the installed control systems supervise the operation and, in the event of an anomaly, prevent the press from activating. Demagnetization is permitted only with the upper part in “dead centre”: it is impossible to remove the mould or die with the press open.
RELIABLE
It has a mono-block construction: machined from a single piece and with an entirely metallic surface. It has no components subject to wear. Mechanical references can be obtained on the surface of the magnetic module to speed up the positioning procedure.
StampTEC is available in 2 configurations: STG – with GRIP effect (37mm thickness) and ST (46mm thickness).
No modifications to moulds and dies
StampTEC is suitable for moulds and dies of all shapes and sizes, without any modification. In the case of moulds or dies made of non-magnetic material or when the contact surface is very small, the use of a simple ferrous plate base allows the system to operate fully.
The face of the mould or die and its internal parts have no residual magnetism: removing scrap is quick and uninterrupted. In the event of a power failure, the system remains operational, holding the mould or die with constant strength.
TOTALLY CUSTOMISABLE
Mechanical references can be added on the surface to speed up the mould or die positioning procedure. The lower module can have a scrap evacuation chute. The system is designed to accommodate “U” slots for the insertion of mould or die sliding systems (“rollers”).
EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY
Initially designed for the milling sector, it soon found application in the handling of ferrous loads and in changing moulds or dies in plastic injection presses. Today the same practical technology is used by StampTEC.
The patented Quadsystem double magnet circuit is made up of a chessboard structure of poles, inserted in a steel mono-block. Each pole generates a constant, uniform and predetermined strength, proportional to the number of poles in contact with the mould or die surface. Quadsystem technology does not fear power outages: the mould or die remains clamped indefinitely, even in the absence of electricity, with the same strength.
Quadsystem MONOLITE technology allows for the creation of magnetic modules with a completely metallic locking surface, without junction elements, sealing resin or other retaining elements. The surface acts as an impenetrable mechanical shield, offering reliability and durability without maintenance.
