MILLTec innovative magnetic systems for milling are the optimal solution for holding workpieces on vertical or horizontal axis machines, on knee-type, portal and fixed bed milling machines, for machining centres, for pallets, squares and cubes on FMS systems.

Machining in a single setup
Working with brackets and clamps, the pieces are never completely free and it is necessary to proceed to multiple placements to complete the machining cycle. With MILLTec the workpiece is always free of 5 faces, allowing the complete machining in a single position, improving the path of the tools in all operations of flattening, trimming, burglary and drilling.
Uniformity of clamping
With MILLTec the workholding force is evenly distributed over the entire contact surface without any compression and deformation of the workpiece. The absence of machining vibrations facilitates removals, improves finishings and tighter machining tolerances.
100% steel surface
The entirely steel metal surface is uniform, free of sealing resin, inserts and retaining elements. The Quadsystem MONOLITE patent has a honeycomb structure obtained from a single piece, which acts as an impenetrable mechanical shield to protect the electrical circuit and the permanent magnets placed inside.
The poles, made via a core drilling operation, are integrated into the structure and are also able to absorb heavy operating efforts while maintaining absolute stability without bending or buckling.
Easy and practical
In a few seconds the workpiece is positioned and firmly clamped (up to 16 kg/cm2). This is a permanent-electro system, therefore inherently safe. Power outages have no effect on the workholding force.

Automatic shimming and stress reduction
A combination of fixed and movable pole extensions creates a flexible magnetic bed which can adapt to the piece to be clamped and securely hold it. New RMP mobile extensions make these operations even simpler and more practical.
Mobile extensions
Our patented RMP mobile extensions allow easy and quick positioning, thanks to the circular shape and the integrated threaded pin, without the use of tools and with no risk of mistakes.
The construction techniques used prevent any chips or impurities from penetrating the interior, ensuring perfect and consistent performance efficiency. The double inclined surface mechanism allows better flux transmission with a 20% increase in magnetic yield compared with traditional extensions with a single inclined surface.
The /SC version with a recess is designed to fasten thin pieces (10 mm).
GRIP Function
MILLTec is also available in a GRIP version. The GRIP patent revolutionises the concept of magnetic locking on milling machines and machining centres. Total uniform holding between the workpiece and the reference magnetic surface and between the magnetic system and the machine table is finally possible.
The complete elimination of machining vibrations makes it possible to maximise the uniform locking characteristics of the magnetic systems, to obtain better finishes, greater precision, optimal machining speed and reduced tool consumption.
The configurations
MillTEC Cube
MILLTec GRIP can be easily coupled to workholding shoulders and cubes to give life to MILLTec Cube.
The uniformity of workholding is guaranteed by the GRIP function, which creates magnetic shoulders with the unique characteristics of stability, rigidity and robustness. The reduced thickness of the magnetic chuck frees machine span and the low weight maximises the load capacity and travel times by reducing wear and stress on the mechanical parts.
MillTec ROUND
MILLTec ROUND is the circular version optimised for installation on 5-axis machines. The reduced thickness and low weight facilitate the machine’s performance while preserving the span and capacity of the machine’s use.
MILLTec ROUND is available in the MILLTec Duo configuration, which is combined with a support obtained from a single piece that raises the magnetic chuck and workpiece from the machine table to allow for better access with a tool.
MILLTEC BLOCK
This product was created to solve the issue of holding large, thick pieces that have a complex shape. The system consists of a combination of 2/4/6/8 modular 4-pole elements, independent of each other and freely positionable on the machine bed. Each module is supplied with 4 fixed pole extensions that can be machined to better adapt to the shape of the workpiece and machining needs.
The system is modular and expandable according to your needs: it is possible to couple multiple MILLTec Block systems to form increasingly dense magnetic workholding networks. MILLTec Block is installed directly with screws on the machine bed using the through holes on each module or coupled for self-locking applications.
MillTec HDN
Machining of alloy steel parts with magnetic chucks may result in the persistence of a magnetic halo after the demagnetization cycle due to the chemical composition of the material. MILLTec HDN solves these problems through an innovative NUFLUX demagnetization circuit that totally eliminates the magnetic residue from the workpiece.
It comes complete with special conical pole extensions that concentrate the magnetic flux on the workpiece to hold for maximum performance. The ST200/R series control unit offers 8 levels of magnetization, thus adapting the workholding force to the characteristics of the piece itself.
