With MILLTec EVO, a state-of-the-art solution that represents the evolution of the magnetic milling chuck, you can achieve maximum magnetic force. Innovative magnetic systems MILLTec Evo is the ideal solution for workholding blanks on fixed or mobile extensions, being equally effective for the removal of large chip volumes on horizontal axis and vertical axis machine tools as well as machining centres.

Advantages

A magnetic surface that can be machined up to 6 mm deep to restore the flatness of the product to its original condition, even after years of intense work. In addition, it makes it possible to mill the shape of the workpiece on the surface of the magnetic chuck and create a precise shape for perfect positioning. The flat surface, entirely made of metal, is ideal for quick and easy cleaning.

Mobile extensions

The patented RMP mobile extensions, thanks to their circular shape and integrated threaded pin, allow easy and quick positioning without the use of tools and with no risk of mistakes.

The technique used for its construction prevents any chips or impurities from penetrating the interior, ensuring perfect and consistent performance efficiency. The double inclined surface mechanism allows better flux transmission with a 20% increase in magnetic yield compared with traditional extensions with a single inclined surface.

The /SC version with a recess is designed for the fastening of thin pieces (10 mm).

The magnetic strength of MILLTec Evo has been optimised for milling blanks and for machining on mobile/fixed extensions, which represent the majority of machine tool milling applications. Comparison with other magnetic systems available on the market shows the advantages of this system:

MillTec EVO Cube

MILLTec EVO can be easily coupled to work-holding shoulders and cubes to give life to MILLTec EVO CUBE.

The uniformity of workholding is guaranteed by the mono-block honeycomb structure that allows the creation of magnetic shoulders with the unique characteristics of stability, rigidity and robustness. The thickness of the magnetic chuck allows it to be machined again, up to 6 mm deep.

MillTec EVO ROUND

MILLTec EVO ROUND is the round version optimised for installation on round table machines. The metal surface of the product, entirely planar, is easy to clean.

MILLTec EVO ROUND is available in MILLTec EVO Duo configuration, that is, combined with a support obtained from a single piece that raises the magnetic chuck and workpiece from the machine table for better access with tools.

MillTec EVO BLOCK

This product was created to solve the problem of holding large, thick pieces with a complex shape. The system consists of a combination of 2/4/6/8 modular 4-pole elements, independent of each other and freely positionable on the machine bed. Each module is supplied with 4 fixed pole extensions that can be machined to better adapt to the geometry of the workpiece and machining needs.

The system is modular and expandable according to application needs: it is possible to couple multiple MILLTec EVO Block systems to form increasingly dense magnetic workholding networks. MILLTec Block is installed directly with screws on the machine bed using the through holes on each module or coupled for self-locking applications.
